Celebrate Recovery

Are you struggling with any type of hurt, hang up or habit?

We all share one thing in common: hurt.

Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a place to heal from those hurts by allowing space to face them in safe community. We begin to see ourselves, God, and others, as God designed as we learn to live out new healthy practices and repair our broken relationships.

Everyone is welcome. Every Friday night.

We have two different types of gender specific Small Groups that are equally important and designed to help deepen your relationship with God, yourself, and others as you find healing in recovery.

1. Open Share small groups meet on Friday night following the general meeting. These groups are issue-specific and meet for one hour giving you a safe place to share a victory, struggle or respond to the evening’s focus question. You do not have to sign up for these groups and you can choose from week-to-week which group fits your needs.

2. Step Study small groups require a weekly commitment for nine months to one year to work through the Celebrate Recovery curriculum. These groups are not issue-specific and they meet for 1 1/2 to 2 hours outside of Friday night. Sign up is required for these groups after you have attended Friday night orientation.

Step study small groups meet at various times and locations. See below Upcoming Events or click on the congregational filter above to locate a group that fits with your schedule.

All groups at Celebrate Recovery follow the small group guidelines designed to keep your time safe and effective as you move forward in the healing and recovery process.

Celebrate Recovery is a volunteer-driven ministry and serving is vital to healthy recovery. Giving of our gifts and talents through service moves our recovery forward as we develop new habits and thinking patterns that don’t revolve around ourselves and our dysfunction. Volunteers choose how often they serve and in what capacity.

Here are just some of the benefits of serving:

  • takes the focus off of us and puts it on filling a need which gives us a sense of belonging and value
  • helps us develop responsibility
  • keeps us accountable to attend Friday night meetings
  • provides space for us to foster healthy community
  • allows us to see others and not only ourselves

FAQ

FAQ

Celebrate Recovery is for everyone. We all share one thing in common: hurt. As we struggle with these hurts we fall to unhealthy coping mechanisms that cause chaos in our lives. Perhaps it is addiction, perfectionism, self-harm, or anger, just to name a few. Maybe you have become codependent trying to manage the people and relationships in your life. You may be struggling with the pain of grief or divorce.

Do you feel like your life is falling apart?
Have you been hurt or have you hurt someone you care about?
Is there something in your life you wish you could live without?
Is it time to admit you are not in control of your life?
Are there things in your life that you do that gets in the way of the more important things?
Do you have a painful hang-up or habit from which you need to find freedom?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, we urge you to attend a Celebrate Recovery meeting.

Your first time visiting Celebrate Recovery will begin with our general meeting. During this time we come together for worship, celebration and inspiration from 7:00-8:00pm.

Then we invite you to stay for a one-time welcome orientation at 8:00pm. Welcome orientation is a relaxed time of open discussion to answer any questions you may have and help make you comfortable for your next visit.

When you come back to visit, we will gather again for our general meeting followed by open share small groups from 8:00-9:00pm. These gender specific, small groups provide a safe place to process our individual struggles and victories.

You are always welcome to join us at Connection Café. Meal time is from 6:00-6:45pm and Desserts & Coffee follows open share small groups at 9:00pm. This is a great opportunity to build healthy, safe connection with others.

Celebration Place welcomes children birth through 4th grade to experience the love of Jesus as they learn how to identify and understand their feelings so they can love themselves and others while growing in their own relationship with God.

Also referred to as "pre-covery," our mission is to partner with parents to help break the cycle of dysfunction destroying so many of our families using age appropriate Christ-centered curriculum that mirrors the lessons taught in large group for adults.

CR 56 supports 5th and 6th grade students as they learn how to process life events in healthy ways to break the generational cycles of dysfunction, and the Landing serves 7th through 12th grade students as they experience unique situations that can be difficult to process with parents.

Both the Landing and CR 56 exist as a safe place to have someone walk alongside students in recovery and to encourage them to turn from their hurts, hang-ups and habits toward healing in Jesus Christ.
